My feelings on Hanabi Resturant is WOW! ! ! I have been a professional DJ..MC for over 22 years and do this full time. I have worked at may Bar..Clubs in the Boston & South Shore area and I have to say Hanabi is Beautiful. They have spent a TON of Money on making this a Very Nice place to come in for a Great meal, have some fun or just sit and enjoy a nice drink. Their food is outstanding and staff is top notch. Katie the owner is a very caring and nice woman. It was a pleasure to sit down with her to go over all the great ways to help promote a fun & safe place for anyone to go in and enjoy themselves. I will be their on Wednesdays doing the After Work Pop Culture Trivia Show from 5pm to 8pm. Any local business is more than welcome to have their employees come on down and test their knowlege to see if they can win great prizes. I am in the works on getting "Deal or No Deal" in there on Wednesday Nights. This is the #1 Game for anyone to play and have a ton of fun. Lot's of laughs and fun will be had by all. Well, after a good battle to get all the permits, licences and all the other official stuff, Players Sports Bar and Restaurant will have it's Grand Opening Tuesday March 18th @ 4:00pm. The wait is now over! ! ! I will be there this Thursday and every Thursday spinning the hottest jams in the South Shore. With all the HDTV's, Professional Billiard Tables, Beers, Mixed Drinks and Dart Boards, this place will be hopping this Thursday. Like I said The Wait Is OVER! ! ! Start Your Engines! ! I have sponsored a Professional Nascar from Nick’s Pit Stop in Abington, Ma. This car is slamming and one of a kind, you will find nothing like it in the area. Some folks told me that I was crazy to have my logo on a Nascar because who is going to see it flying around a track at over 100 mph. Well this car won’t be in any races, this car is more for show. It will be all over the eastern Ma area for parades, grand openings and sporting events. I will be at the St. Patricks Day Parade in Abington this Sunday. Nick’s Pit Stop, your once stop for all minor or major car repairs and your Nascar Headquarters to by any product or collectors items that you can think of, Lynch’s Towing & Recovery Services out of Brockton, Ma. will bring their new flat bed tow truck to carry the car and myself through the parade. We hope to take first place with this float. The Parade will start at 1pm in Abington Center at the corner of Orange St & Washington St. After the parade all of us will be showing the car off with pictures and live Irish Music played by me. Well, here's the deal. I'm pretty sure that Players Sports Bar in Rockland will be open by next week. Everyone has been asking and I am trying to keep you all up to date on what's going on. They're just finishing up all the final touches and it's abut 95% done. Like I said before, they want to make sure everything is perfect for the Grand Opening. Last week once again was a good time had by all. My new Big Daddy Fans were on the dance floor drinking, dancing & having a great time. I have to laugh when every week I get tons of requests for Journey's "Don't Stop Believing". Seems to me this song is making a huge come back. But still the most requested song of the night was Low by Flo-Rida, that is a great jam. Ok here's the update on Players in Rockland...

I stopped by today and all I have to say is... WOW!!! This place is off the hook. They have more HDTV's than Best Buy's show room. The bar is off the hook, with more HDTV's than you can shake a stick at. If you love to play darts like me, than this is the place to be. With 12 dart boards in the bar room you will never have to wait to play. Players is going to be your new home to sit back, relax with your friends and have a great time. Now I know everyone is wanting to know when the grand opening is going to be, but they will not open till everything is perfect!! With some luck they will meet their goal to have everything PERFECT by next week. I will let you know exactly when the Grand Opening is going to be once they tell me. Thursday nights are going to be the place to be. Why go all the way into Boston, pay to park, pay to get in and spend a ton of money just to have a good time when Players offers all that and more. The finest food the South Shore has to offer at prices that won't break the bank. Like I said before, have your next function at Players Sports Bar. All I can say is "WOW"! ! If you didn't make last Saturday at the Halfway Cafe then you missed on heck of a great night. The dance area was packed with people dancing till passed midnight. Now I know that I'm done at 12am but with that many people drinking and having a good time, who wants to just down that early. The staff was amazed at how many people were dancing. They made remarks of "I have never seen that many people out on the dance floor for that long of a time." and "Keep this up will have to move you to a bigger area." That's what I'm talking about!! Pack the house and let them have a great night without having to go into the city and spend a fortune on parking, admisson and drinks. I will be at the Halfway Cafe this Friday night again, so don't miss the party. It will be a night that you will never forget. See you all there at 9:00pm.

If you missed this Friday at Halfway Cafe in Holbrook then you missed a great time. I will be there again Feb. 9th from 9pm - 12am on Saturday. We had an awsome time once again. I was out there dancing with all the great folks that showed up. We did the Cha Cha Slide and Crank That (Superman) on the dance floor. Yup that's right.... I was out on the dance floor just like everyone elese!! We had Katie and Brenda on the bar serving the BEST drinks out there. Brenda the bartender was jamn away with Tommy tonight. And I tell you all the staff members know how to have a great time. Me and the staff danced to what the guests wanted to hear. Anything and everything we played on Friday. From Soul to Rock to Hip Hop and all the great jams out there, we had a ball. Well, Saturday night at the Halfway Cafe went really well. Pretty much all of people where tapping to the beat all night long. They like me so much that I will be there every weekend in February. I will be there on February 1st from 9-12am in Holbrook. The bartenders where great, Kattie, Dan and ALLEY...yes that's right ALLEY not Ashley....LOL!! Well here's my new blog. First off I would like to thank everyone who visits here. About me... I'm 35, Married (Sorry Ladies.), I have two great boys (4 & 5) and now I'm starting up my own DJ\MC Company called Big Daddy Ray Productions. I have been a DJ\MC for over 20 years and 100% LOVE what I do. This has been my dream to bring the excitement of how I feel when I work at an event to everyone in the New England area. My biggest goal is to have 100% customer satisfaction on every function I do. I have made many great friends in the entertainment industry and look forward to making many more.
